Moisture in the house
Cooking, bathing, drying clothes and breathing all add water vapour. In a closed-up house on a cold morning, that vapour often shows first on the glass. Mist between panes of a sealed unit is a different problem — a failed unit — and the survey treats that separately.
Ventilation and a wet winter
Falkirk winters bring long stretches of damp air. Trickle vents, extractor fans and simply opening a window after a shower all change how much moisture sits against the glass. This article does not invent building-warrant rules or humidity statistics.
What the survey looks for
On site, the survey checks whether condensation is on the room face, on the outside, or inside a sealed unit. Replacement glass or frames may help when the unit has failed — but moisture habits still matter after the visit.
For replacement frames, see UPVC windows Falkirk. For the wider openings visit, see windows and doors.
